Greetings from NY 29! I've got a couple of stories to tell you about Eric Massa's campaign in upstate NY. We're feeling good about our chances to unseat rubber stamp Randy Kuhl, but the closer we get, the uglier it gets around here. Unfortunately, this district is one of the few that the RNCC has NOT pulled out of.
Randy Kuhl needed a ton of cash quick, and as usual, his corporate buddies were there to help him out. And why not? After voting to block price gouging investigations of Big Oil and voting for billion dollar tax giveaways to energy companies and the liquor industry, they're in a very giving mood. In an attempt to salvage their investment, Randy's corporate allies have pumped over $60,000 into his campaign over the last 48 hours.
Here's a partial listing:

If this isn't enough to make your head explode, take a look at this image which Wonkette captured yesterday: http://wonkette.com/... check out the raccoon and the Confederate flag. (Note the Kuhl sign as well.)

The Massa campaign is $5200 short of actually being in the black. Anything you can do will help, especially with the RNCC and Exxon on Randy's side. Eric's on the Orange to Blue page.

On the interesting side, I don't know what "Soul Full Cup" is going to do after tomorrow. Massa's Corning HQ moved in next door to the coffee shop several months ago and they're really going to miss us when we're gone!

Today's the last day of Eric's repeat RV Tour around the 29th district. We didn't get every day up on the web, but you can take a look at today's schedule here: http://www.massaforcongress.com/... There's also a schedule for tomorrow, although he won't actually BE in the RV tomorrow.

Speaking of what "Soul Full Cup" is going to do after tomorrow... what am I going to do? I've been volunteering for Eric since sometime in mid-2005. It will definitely be strange to NOT have to have my laptop with me all the time in case Eric needs a quick update to the website.
